Pulse Frequently Asked Questions

*How to price two tone & three tone orders

Two Tone:
On a two tone piece with fabric choices in a grade 2 and grade 6, the average grade would be a 4.
If the grade choices were a 3 and a 4 the average grade would be a 3.5 and the price would be rounded up to the nearest grade, a grade 4. If the grade 3 cost were $1000 and the grade 4 cost $1100, then the grade 3.5 cost would be rounded up to $1100.

Three Tone:
On a three tone piece with fabric choices in a grade 1, 2, and 3, the average grade would be a grade 2.
If the grade average is not an even number or half number, it is rounded up to the nearest grade. For example, if the grade choices were 3, 4, and 7, the average works out to be 4.67. This would be rounded up to a grade 5 value.

(The fabric grades are rounded up to cover the additional shipping, labor and inventory costs incurred.)

*What do the fabric cleaning codes stand for?

Fabric Cleaning Codes
W = water based cleaning agents
S = mild water-free dry cleaning solvents
WS = either of the above
X = vacuum or brush lightly
MSW = Clean with mild soap and water
*Professional furniture cleaning is always recommended.

P = Semi-aniline leather (Cleaning code: P)

1. SPILLS: Blot gently with a clean white cloth (may be dampened with water) as soon as possible. Most spills will be removed very easily. If the leather appears to be stained, use a solution of mild soap (Ivory, Neutrogena) on a slightly dampened cloth. Wipe the area gently; do not rub. Use a clean cloth dampened with water to remove any soap residue, then dry the surface with a dry cloth.

2. Do not use soaps or alcohol-based products for general cleaning. They may dry out the leather, shortening its useful life.

3. GENERAL CLEANING & CONDITIONING: Dust or vacuum frequently, using a crevice tool on the seams. Wipe off surface dirt every two weeks with a clean white cloth dampened with water. Apply a leather conditioner at least twice a year. Follow directions on the bottle.

The Cleaning instructions from the manufacturer of the GRADE # 3 PVC are as follows:
For Mild stains: Try soap and water
For tougher stains : Try Lighter fluid
For the toughest stains : Try 10 % bleach & 90 % water
