The Philosophy
Our Factory
Pulse operates 100% Sweat Shop Free ! We believe that business has a responsibility to act sustainably, fairly, honestly and humanly. We strive to provide exceptional service, quality products, build-your-own customization, and an unbeatable warranty.
Our Staff
Our employees are each part owners of Pulse. Each receive a fair wage and have an excellent health benefits package. We believe that this is the right way to do business. On average Pulse pays $17.00 per hour for wages, bonuses and benefits. Compare that with other manufacturers domestically and overseas. Our staff have many years of furniture industry experience and their knowledge is valued, recognized and rewarded through our monthly team bonus program. We are a small business and each of our staff members are empowered with autonomy to provide input and control, which allows them the opportunity to make great furniture while growing as people.
Our Suppliers
Whenever possible, we use local and Canadian made components and materials. Our frames are made 1 mile from our assembly plant and we buy 100% of all of our components from local and Canadian businesses. We believe that local purchasing is good for our economy, our neighbors and for our planet.
Our Planet
We manufacture all Pulse furniture items in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada which is geographically in the Center of North America. We use as many local suppliers as possible which means that we use less packaging, less transportation, and less fossil fuels to get the furniture to our customers which creates less Green House Gas emissions (GHG). This makes Mother Nature happy. And, we also give a portion of every sale and every hour of our days back to eco charities and eco projects in the communities our furniture lives, both locally, nationally and internationally. We're there for you all the way with our Quick Ship Program and our great lines. So, you'll always look like a hero to your clients with Pulse.
And as retailers, we know that what's on your showroom floor is your bread and butter. At Pulse, we can fill your floor with furniture that won't stay there for long. Your bottom line will so love us.
Pulse is available through designers and selected retail showrooms. Each of our marketing partners have an exclusive territory to operate in. This, we believe, will spin off to create higher satisfaction for the customer, and greater success for you.
